Neuro Linguistic programming (NLP)

is concerned with how people think, experience and act in the world. The key to creating this technique was the study of people who did things extremely well.

If, for example, you wanted to create a model for learning how to drive a car really well, you would find and study an expert driver. Linked to this was an understanding of how we perceive the world through our five senses.

NLP gives insight into how some people can respond very successfully in a situation and others do not.

Once you learn how those who remain successful and achieve their potential, you can then teach others to do the same thing.

NLP is about what works, not what should work. If what you are doing isn't working, try something else, something more successful.

From this basic understanding was developed a set of techniques which includes: analysis of behaviour, visualizations; the means of accepting change; the setting of goals and the strategies for achieving these.
